About the Instructor
Stephanie Morrison holds a B.M. in piano performance from the University of Denver and an M.M. in piano performance from Webster University. Ms. Morrison is an MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and has served as President of the Denver Area Music Teachers’ Association. She is passionate about teaching music to young children and heavily relies on the principles of Dalcroze Music Education and the Taubman approach to make private lessons dynamic and inspirational.
Stephanie is currently the accompanist for Abiding Love Lutheran Church in South Austin. You can hear her on their livestream every Sunday morning accompanying hymns and playing everything from Bach to Mark Hayes for preludes and postludes. From 2007-2015, Stephanie served on the faculty at the Community College of Denver. In addition to offering private instruction, she also served as vocal studio accompanist and an instructor of Music Fundamentals, Music Theory, Music History, and Music Appreciation.
Besides being a piano teacher, Stephanie is the mother of two children, Isabella and Lucas. When I'm not practicing, I can be found walking the Steiner Ranch neighborhood or outside in my garden growing beautiful flowers.
